Higher Ed Law

Located in the Philadelphia area, I am a scholar of higher education law. My expertise is in college and university organizational structure, mission of higher education, faculty (training, expectations, roles, evaluation, etc.), free speech, academic freedom, and how the courts and attorneys understand higher education. I am not an attorney and I do not have a J.D., my approach to higher ed law is as a scholar. I have a masters degree in Foundations of Education (2016) and I am finishing a PhD in Higher Education (anticipated 2023 graduation) from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education.

Please contact me at NoraAnneDevlin@gmail.com if you would like information about my potential availability as an expert witness, mediator, coach, or consultant for a case or conflict. I am located in Philadelphia, but am happy to work remotely or travel for cases outside of the Northeastern U.S. I am interested in consulting on cases related to faculty employment disputes, faculty or university negligence, faculty speech, academic freedom (breach of contract), tenure/promotion, etc. Please contact me for my rate.
